Photography Workshops

We host workshops for photography. Recently, we spent a week on Isle Royale in Lake Superior. Stay tuned to this page for upcoming events in which you might be interested or in your area.

We are planning a photographic workshop for 2007 in Michigan's Upper Peninsula working around the Porcupine Mountains and the Keweenaw Peninsula. This will occur in late September. Another workshop is being considered in Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness along the South Fork of the Flathead River. A third photographic workshop for May in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park is being investigated. These workshops offer extended periods of shooting opportunities and the freedom to spend time by yourself. During prime shooting times (dawn, dusk) we will be in the preferred locations.

Photography workshops are a great way of stretching your own skills, learning new ones and making friends. We cover equipment issues, like getting the most out of your camera by adjusting the settings to work better for you, image quality issues including work-flow, composition help and just learning new shooting techniques.

Group sizes are kept small—usually no more than six or eight people in the entire group. This reduces the “pressure” on the environment as well as allows more time for one-on-one teaching and sharing. Instruction, as well as shooting opportunities are adapted to the participant's individual needs and interests.

Audio Workshops

Workshops are available for basic sound system operation, advanced mixing techniques, microphone selection and placement, mixed media operation and audio post-production. These workshops are available for your church or school and can be coordinated with other services offered by Image66 Media or Path of Life Ministries. Call or email us for scheduling a workshop at your location. Audio Workshops are available in one to three days of training sessions and can be offered in conjunction with the installation and setup of new sound system and media equipment.
