In April 2000, I discovered through early detection, via mammogram, that I had the early stages of breast cancer. This began a nine-month journey that I would take. It revealed spiritual truths in my life that would not have happened any other way. These experiences and lessons have helped me better relate to women going through similar experiences.
In 2003, breast cancer was again discovered. This time, in both breasts. It was dealt with it swiftly and the long-term prognosis is excellent.
Prior to the cancer's return, I was invited to speak at a women's conference here in Iowa where I shared my testimony and the vision of my Path of Life.
